Wegmans Deals this Week 7/19-7/25

Although I don't often shop with coupons at Wegmans, I do find really good deals on produce and meat. Here is what they have that's good this week:

• Locally grown green beans $.99 a pound
• California seedless grapes $.99 a pound
• Whole seedless watermelons $3.99
• Wegmans chicken thighs or drumsticks 4 lbs o r more $.79 a pound
• Wegmans all pork italian sausage 2.5 lbs or more $1.99 a pound
• squash or zucchini $.99 a pound
• Wegmans butter $1.69 a pound

Quick Wegmans Stop

So, I have a few things I need to add to my food total for the month. My husband stopped at Wegmans last night and got milk and some fruit, plus our prepaid card for our phones (these are in another part of our budget - we buy them every other month at $30 each).

• gallon of whole milk for the little guy $1.99
• gallon of skim milk for the rest of us $1.99
• pound of strawberries $1.50 (I doubt these will be as good as the local ones we had last week, but we will see)
• pint of blueberries $1.50

So, he spent $6.98 which I now need to add to our total amount spent on our food for this month.

Here are the deals at Wegmans this week:

• Corn on the cob 4/$1
• 5 pounds of potatoes $1.99
• Strawberries $1.50 a pound
• Boneless skinless chicken breast - 5 lbs or more $1.99 a pound
• Kelloggs Special K cereal $2.50. Use $1 coupon from 6-7 to make this $1.50
• Wegmans hot dog and hamburger rolls $.99
• Raisin Bran $2. Use coupon here to save $1 making it $1.
• kelloggs poptarts $1.50. Use $.55 coupon from 6-7 insert which doubles to $1.10, making these $.40

Wegmans receipts

I just wanted to let you all know that Wegmans has coupons on the backs of their receipts now. These are Wegmans coupons for normal and everyday food. I found this out late last night, otherwise I would have went to customer service and asked them about using these coupons along with a manufacture coupon (like you can at Target and Walgreens). I will try to ask this the next time I am in there during regular hours. So, just don't throw your receipts out - check and make sure there isn't a coupon on the back that you could use.
