Walgreens Quick Trip 7/2

After my interview this morning, I decided to stop by Walgreens and get a few things. Here is what I got:

• 2 boxes of HaganDaz ice cream bars. On clearance for $2.14. Had a $1 coupon making them $1.64 each
• 2 cans of Pringles (for the holiday weekend) $.99 each. Had $1 coupon off 2, making these $.49 each
• 4 boxes of Shells N Cheese $1.67 each (awesome price!) Had 2 coupons for $1.50 off 2. So, they were 4/$3.67 or about $.92 each (I add ingredients to these to make them a more rounded meal)
  
• Dawn dish detergent $1.99. Used Walgreens coupon to make it $.99 plus a $.50 off 1 coupon, making it $.49

I then used two $3 register rewards. The register wouldn't let me use my other one that was for $1, so I will use that next week.

Amount before savings: $27.23
Sales savings: $12.23
Coupon savings: $12.50
Amount paid: $2.50 (saved 90.8%)

My Walgreens and Rite Aid Deals 6/21

Guess how much this all this stuff cost me. Nothing. $0.00!!!! It was a good day, let me tell ya. LOL. Here is the breakdown:

Rite Aid

• 4 Mentos Gum. Used 4 $1 off coupons to get all for FREE (I have 2 more coupons at home so I will probably run over later in the week and grab 2 more)
  
• Crest Enamel Shield toothpaste $2.69 with a $2.69 rebate = FREE
  
• Suave deodorant $1.99. Used $.50 coupon and there is $1.50 rebate making an OVERAGE of $.01

I also had a $2 rebate check from last month that I used. I spent $2.87 and will be getting $4.19 in rebates. Therefore I had an overage of $1.32. Nothing like getting paid to shop! LOL.

Walgreens

• Sunday newspaper $1.50
• Gallon of milk $1.89
• 3 boxes of cereal. 3/$7 and get $1 in register rewards. Also used $1 off 3 coupon which made them 3/$6
  
• 3 packages of Kotex pads at $2.99 each. Buy 3 and get $3 in register rewards. Used 2 $1 off coupons which made them $2.32 each
• Aquafresh Whitening toothpaste $3 with $3 in register rewards - essentially making this free

If I hadn't gotten the milk and paper there my savings would have been greater, but we needed these anyway. I used 4 Register Rewards from 2 weeks ago worth $12.50. I paid $7.82 out of pocket and received $7.00 in Register Rewards. So, it was almost like paying $.82 for all this stuff.

I spent $10.69 out of pocket. I have $4.19 in rebates coming and received $7 in Register Rewards. This comes out to me actually getting paid to shop! Love it!!? I got $42.65 worth of product absolutely free!!! That's a savings of 100%+.

Walgreens Deals 6/21-6/27

• Revlon Cosmetics. Buy One Get One Free. Use 2 $1 off coupons from 5-17 insert to increase your savings even more.
• Lysol wipes 2/$5. Register Reward for $1 when you buy 2. Use $1 off 2 from 6-7 insert to make these 2/$3
• Skintimate or Edge shave gel $1.99 with Walgreens coupon. Use $.75 off coupon from 4/26 insert to make this $1.24
• Kotex $2.99. Buy 3 and get $3 register reward. Use 3 $1 coupons from 6-14 insert to make these $.99 each
• Speedstick $2.99 with a $2 register reward making it $.99
• General Mills cereal 3/$7 with a $1 register reward. Use $1 off 3 coupon from 5-31 insert to make these 3/$5
• Lysol Disinfectant spray $3.50 Buy 2 and get $2 register reward. Use two $2 off 1 coupon from 6-7 insert to make these $.50 each
• Bandaids $1.50. Use $1 off 1 coupon from 4-26 insert to make it $.50

My Walgreens Deals 6/10

I bought quite a few things yesterday at Walgreens. I had quite a few coupons and I got quite a few Register Rewards. I had a gift card from the last month that they ran their rebate program, so I used that to decrease my total also. Here is what I got:

• Gillette body wash and Gillette shampoo, both on sale for $4 each. I had a $1 off coupon for the body wash and another $1 coupon for the shampoo, making these 2/$6. At checkout I received a $3 Register Reward, making these essentially 2/$3.
• 2 Head and Shoulders shampoos, on sale for 2/$8. Used $2 off 2 coupon which brought these down to 2/$6. At checkout I got $2 in Register Rewards, making these essentially 2/$4.
• 2 Palmolive dish detergent. On sale for $.99 each with coupon. Used $1 off 2 to make these less than $1 for two.
  
• 2 Snuggle fabric softener and a container of All. On sale for $4.49 each = $13.47. I had 2 coupons for $.50 off and one for $.40 off, which made them $12.07. At checkout, I received $5 in Register Rewards essentially making these 3/$7.07 or $2.35 each.
• Gillette Fusion Gamer razor $9.49. Used a $4 coupon, making it $5.49. At checkout, I received a $2.50 Register Reward, essentially making it $2.99

Total Before Savings: $54.94
Sales, Coupons, Gift Card: $29.45
Total Paid Out of Pocket: $25.49
Total After RR's: $16.96

I plan to go to Walgreens again this week and use some of my Register Rewards. They have Slim-Fast on sale and with RR's, plus I have coupons. They also have a coupon in the ad for $2 off Neosporin On the Go, plus I have a $1 coupon. They want $5.99 for this, but after coupons, this would be $2.99 and probably would be nice to have in the glove box or diaper bag. They also have my makeup on sale for 40% off, plus I have a coupon for $1 off. I will need to get some fillers in order to use the RR's I just got, but I will still be getting everything cheap.

Just a little tip: Make sure you have as many products as you do coupons and RR's. For example, if you have 3 manufacture coupons and you want to also use 2 RR's, you need to buy 5 things. Look for cheap fillers like candy bars or anything else that might be 2/$1 or 3/$1 to bring your total items sold to the amount you need.

Walgreens Deals 6/7-6/13

Here are the coupon matchups for this week at Walgreens

• All or Snuggle. Buy 3 at $4.49 and get $5 Register Reward. Buy 2 All and use $1 off 2 coupon from 5-10. Use $.50 coupon from 5-17 insert. All three will end up being $6.97 or $2.32 each
• Charmin 12 pack. $6.49 with Walgreens coupon. Use $.25 coupon from 6-7 to make the price $6.24. This is not the best deal, but if you desperately in need of toilet paper, then it's not that awful bad.
  
• 2 pack Glade refills. $2.99. Use $1 off coupon from 5-19 to make these $1.99.
• Gillette Fusion power or manual razor. $9.49 minus $2.50 Register Rewards = $6.99. You can use $4 coupon from 6-7 to make this razor essentially $2.99
• Gillette shampoo or body wash 2/$8 minus $3 Register Rewards = 2/$5. Use 2 $1 off coupons from 6-7 insert to make these essentially 2/$3 or $1.50 each
• Dove personal care products on sale for 25% off. Buy 8, get $10 Register Rewards, 6 and get $6 Register Rewards or 4 and get $2 Register Reward. Coupons will further reduce your cost - coupons in 3-15, 5-17 and 6-7.
• Rimmel cosmetics 40% off. Use $1 off coupon that expires 6/30.
• Playtex tampons Glide or Sport 2/$8 minus $2 in Register Rewards = 2/$6. Use two $1 off 1 coupon from 3-22 insert or 6-7 insert to make these 2/$6
• Double pack of Crest Whitestrips premium $29.99. Use coupon from 6-7 insert to make this $24.99
• SimFast $5.99. Buy 2 and get $2 Register Rewards = $9.98. Use two $1.40 coupons that expire 8/9 to make them 2/$71.8 or $3.59 each.

There are some pretty good deals this week at Walgreens and some good coupons that go along with them.

• Kotex pads 2/$6. Use 2 $1 (coupon expires 5/30) to make them 2/$4. Or just buy one pack for $2.

Great Walgreens Deals This Week

I went shopping at Walgreens a few days ago. I got some great deals, even though I spent a little extra to get some things for the kids for Easter. Here's what I bought:

- 6 Disney Activity Pads (Easter)- with coupon 3/$2
- 2 Betty Crocker frosting - on sale $1.50 each and $1 coupon on two = $1 each
- Playtex tampons - $3.99 minus $1 coupon = $2.99
- 2 bottles of Super Bubbles (Easter) - 3/$1 with coupon
- 2 bottles of Palmolive - $.99 each with coupon minus $1 coupon = $.99 for both
- Colgate toothpaste $3.49

I received a $3.49 register reward for the Colgate and a $1 register reward for the frosting.

Total saved: $13.70
Total paid after savings: $12.26 (52.8%)
